Pitre & Associates Skyrockets Past the Million Dollar Mark! In 2024, the Firm Accumulated Approximately $1,167,000 for Our Clients in Combined Settlements, Damages Awards, and Salary Retention in 2024!!

Pitre and Associates returned to their standard of greatness by once again surpassing their self-imposed million-dollar threshold in compensation for its clients. Even more thrilling is the fact that in 2024, we were able to have three Federal Employee removals rescinded through the MSPC/EEOC process; more than 35 days of Suspension days reduced/overturned; three client’s disability retirement applications approved; one reverse race discrimination case settled at the U.S. District Court for the District of South Dakota; one disability discrimination case settled at the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia; a Decision and Order in our client’s favor in a Non-Selection case before the EEOC; in addition to settling numerous Federal and Private Sector EEOC complaints to our client’s satisfaction.

Here’s a breakdown of what we were able to achieve in 2024:

  • P&A Successfully litigated a Non-Selection Race Discrimination case before the EEOC where the client was awarded nonpecuniary compensatory damages in the amount of $30,000; attorney’s fees in the amount of $88,940.40; and backpay in its proven amount.*
  • P&A settled 22 EEOC/MSPB cases, where we negotiated over $741,500 in compensatory damages, restoration of leave, and attorney’s fees for our clients.
  • P&A settled a reverse race discrimination case at the U.S. District Court for the District of South Dakota for $55,000 in compensatory damages and $121,756.83 in attorney’s fees.
  • P&A settled a disability discrimination case at the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia for $92,500 in attorney’s fees and compensatory damages; a Promotion to a GS-10; Step 9; and 880 sick leave hours restored.
  • P&A was able to get three Federal Agencies to Rescind the Removal of our clients.
  • P&A was able to get three client’s Disability Retirement applications approved.
  • Managing Partner, A. Marques Pitre, was once again acknowledged as a 2024 Lawyer of Distinction©.
