Santo A. Scrimenti is an experienced employment and labor attorney with a proven track record of getting results for clients in a wide variety of settings, including federal and state courts, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Maryland Commission on Civil Rights, the D.C. Commission on Human Rights, and others.

Mr. Scrimenti has a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the Catholic University of America, and he graduated cum laude from American University Washington College of Law with a juris doctorate.  While in law school, Mr. Scrimenti won an award for his legal writing and research skills.  Mr. Scrimenti’s professional experience encompasses both plaintiff and defense work, and he has handled every phase of pretrial litigation in a variety of venues.

Mr. Scrimenti has played a crucial role in several high-profile, complex cases, including: Title VII discrimination claims, wrongful termination claims, False Claims Act and National Defense Authorization Act fraud cases, contract and collective bargaining lawsuits and arbitrations, Fair Labor Standards Act claims, American with Disabilities Act and the Rehabilitation Act claims, Family and Medical Leave Act claims, as well as working directly with the Department of Justice, various U.S. Attorneys Offices and Offices of the Inspector General on a variety of investigations and litigation.
