Karla Cruz was born and raised in Orlando, Florida. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, minored in Mass Communication, and received a certificate in Intelligence and National Security from the University of Central Florida. In 2024, she earned her Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law.

Prior to joining Pitre & Associates, Karla gained valuable experience working on wage and hour theft and employment discrimination cases. In law school, she was the President of the Latin American Law Student Association. Her family is originally from Bayamon. Puerto Rico and she is fluent in Spanish. Ms. Cruz is passionate about helping others and providing exceptional care to every client.
